Job summary

The Cafe Distributors in Newcastle area is seeking a reliable Warehouse Picker to join our team. You will pick and pack customer orders, load and unload stock, receive deliveries and keep the warehouse tidy.

We value punctuality, attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and with others. Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not required; forklift license is an advantage.

Job description

As a Warehouse Picker, you will be responsible for helping with the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, including:

Monday - Thursday 5pm - 9 or 10pm

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately
• Loading and unloading stock
• Receiving and putting away deliveries
• Checking stock and maintaining warehouse organisation
• Preparing orders for dispatch
• Keeping the warehouse clean, safe and tidy
• Assisting the team with general warehouse duties as required

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Is reliable, punctual and has a strong work ethic
• Has good attention to detail
• Is physically fit and comfortable working on your feet. Hustle needed as time restraints apply
• Can work independently as well as part of a team
• Is willing to learn and follow instructions
• Has previous warehouse or picking/packing experience (preferred but not essential)

Forklift licence is an advantage but not essential.
