Job summary

Arnel Fencing Warehouse, part of the Stratco Group, is seeking a motivated Warehouse Team Member to join our Cairns site. This hands-on role requires teamwork, safe work practices and a proactive attitude in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will supervise day-to-day operations, pack products for pickup, load/unload deliveries, maintain stock records with scanners and load sheets, and support training and task planning while upholding WHS standards.

Qualifications

• Essential - Forklift licence & experience.
• Previous experience in warehouse role.
• Strength and fitness for frequent lifting and movement.

Responsibilities

• Supervising day-to-day warehouse operations and supporting team performance.
• Packing products for customer pickups and deliveries.
• Loading and unloading delivery trucks and customer vehicles.
• Maintaining stock records and stock movements via scanners and load sheets.
• Supporting team training, workflow planning and task allocation.
• General housekeeping and stocktaking duties, basic warehouse computer operation.
• Maintaining a safe workplace and following safety rules.

Arnel Fencing supplies almost every type of fencing available to areas throughout the region, from the Tablelands to the Cape and beyond, with its dedicated team offering advice and assistance throughout the process.

Arnel Fencing Warehouse are looking for a motivated Warehouse Team Member to join the team. This role involves hands-on work, collaboration with warehouse & office team and maintaining a well-organised and safe working environment. We are seeking an individual with a strong work ethic, passion for the industry and ability to thrive in a dynamic setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervising day-to-day warehouse operations and supporting team performance
• Packing products ready for customer pickups and deliveries
• Loading and unloading Arnel Fencing delivery truck & customer vehicles
• Maintaining stock records and stock movements via scanners and load sheets
• Supporting team training, workflow planning and task allocation
• General housekeeping and stocktaking duties, basic warehouse computer operation
• Maintaining a safe workplace and following critical safety rules

ABOUT YOU

• Essential - Forklift licence & experience
• Previous experience in warehouse role
• Strength & fitness to undertake a frequent movement and lifting role
• Sound awareness of safety standard and alertness of moving parts and people
• Ability to lead by example with enthusiasm, energy and pace
• A strong commitment to WHS policies & procedures
