Job summary

AG Height Safety QLD in Cairns is seeking a Logistics Coordinator/Yard Coordinator to keep our yard, equipment and logistics moving smoothly each day. This hands-on role suits someone who stays organised, takes ownership, and can deliver without constant direction.

You'll coordinate daily loading/unloading, pick and pack equipment for jobs, check returns, manage stock, arrange repairs, and ensure crews have the right gear. Proactive problem solving and reliable teamwork are valued.

Qualifications

• Has a White Card (essential).
• Has a Forklift Licence (essential).
• Has a current MR Licence (willing to obtain).

• Receiving and checking equipment returned from site.
• Maintaining an organised, clean and safe yard.
• Identifying damaged or missing equipment.

• Working closely with Operations to ensure crews have the right gear at the right time.
• Using technology and internal systems to track equipment and keep records.

We're looking for an Logistics Coordinator / Yard Coordinator to become the backbone of our Cairns branch.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being organised, takes ownership of their work, and keeps things moving without needing constant direction.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for ensuring our yard, equipment and logistics run smoothly each day.

• Coordinating the daily loading and unloading of trucks.
• Picking and packing equipment for upcoming jobs.

• Has previous experience in scaffolding industry (highly regarded).
• Has a current MR Licence (willing to obtain).
• Holds a Forklift Licence (essential).
• Has a White Card. (essential).
• Open to learning programs with computers, tablets and mobile technology.

• Has excellent time management and attention to detail.
