Job summary

Torchmaster Australia is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to own daily warehouse operations, lead a small stores team, and support customers and sales across our national network.

You will oversee opening/closing, picking/packing, FIFO receiving, dispatch coordination, stocktakes, and CRM updates, while maintaining safety and accuracy in a hands-on, supportive environment.

This role offers autonomy, real ownership, and a stable full-time position in a growing Australian business.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or stores operations.
• Leadership experience or the ability to guide a small team.
• Strong organisation and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Computer literacy, especially with warehouse or inventory systems.
• Experience in welding, industrial, or trade supply products is highly regarded.
• Forklift licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and participate in daily warehouse and customer service operations.
• Open and close the warehouse.
• Pick and pack orders.
• Receive, inspect and store incoming goods using FIFO principles.
• Coordinate dispatch, freight bookings and courier consignments.
• Perform stocktakes, cycle counts, and manage damaged or transferred stock.
• Maintain a clean, safe and compliant warehouse environment.
• Lead and support a small stores team.
• Handle customer enquiries (phone & email), pickups, and walk-ins.
• Enter orders, processing invoices and updating CRM systems.
• Assist with quotes, enquiries and stock availability.
