Job summary

Stoddart is seeking a Warehousing & Despatch Worker to accurately pick, pack and store stock, and unload containers from a Brisbane facility. The role emphasizes precision in packing and stock handling with a standard 8am-4:30pm Mon-Thu and 8am-2pm Fridays schedule.

Responsibilities include identifying stock from paperwork, picking stock, measuring and cutting timber with a drop saw, assembling crates with a nail gun, and recording outgoing stock. Forklift licensing (HR/LF) is required.

Qualifications

Job description

We operate out of a state-of the-art facility in the southern suburbs of Brisbane, with an additional network of sales offices and warehouses in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. As a Warehousing & Despatch Worker, you will be responsible for accurate picking, packing and storage of stock from the warehouse, and goods manufactured on a just in time basis. The role also takes responsibility for container unloading. The nature of the work requires exceptional accuracy in packing of shipped goods.

8am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday, 8am-2pm on Fridays

More specifically your duties will include the following:

Accurately identify stock on paperwork

Accurately pick stock

Manhandle stock and packaging

Accurately measure items

Measure and cut timber using a drop saw

Assemble crates/skids/etc using a nail gun

Record outgoing stock

Willingly accept other duties as directed

In determining suitability for the role, the following criteria are considered essential:
