Job summary

Jenner and Co in Sydney's Western Suburbs is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor / Shift Manager for AM & PM shifts. You will lead a medium to large warehouse team, drive accuracy and productivity, and ensure safety and customer satisfaction on fast-paced days.

You will manage staffing, monitor KPIs, and actively use the WMS and RF scanners, taking a hands-on approach to daily operations and problem solving to support the site manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years warehouse supervisor/shift manager experience.
• Proven leadership and people management skills.
• Experience with warehouse management systems and RF scanners.
• Customer service mindset and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the warehouse team and drive performance with a focus on accuracy.
• Identify optimal staffing levels across shifts to meet KPIs.
• Monitor productivity and accuracy to ensure daily peak performance and safety.
• Use and update the warehouse management system & RF scanners.
• Be a hands-on leader, not just behind a desk.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and address delivery issues.
• Maintain delivery and inventory accuracy.

The main purpose of this role is to:

manage the warehouse team and drive the performance of the team with a focus on accuracy

Identifying optimum staffing levels across the shift to meet cost and service KPI’s

Monitor productivity and accuracy of all team members to ensure optimum performance is delivered daily whilst maintaining a safe working environment

use and update the warehouse managementsystem & RF scanners

be a hands on leader, not just sitting behind a desk

ensure customer satisfaction

warehouse related customer delivery issues

maintain delivery and inventoryaccuracy

To be successful in this role you will:

have a minimum of 2 years warehouse supervisor / shift managerexperience

be a people leader

be experienced with warehouse management systems

be a team player with a strong work ethic

be a problem solver and have a customer service mentality

know what it takes to be successful and look to support the site manager in the general day to day running of a fast paced warehouse

A knowledge of 3PL / food / pharma is a bonus, but not essential
