Job summary

Labourforce in Sydney is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Team Lead to manage day-to-day warehouse operations at Rosehill. You will lead from the floor, drive safety, accuracy and on-time stock movements while mentoring staff across receiving, storage, picking and dispatch.

You will ensure WHS compliance, optimise inventory controls, coordinate with transport teams and maintain a safe, clean site with strong customer service focus. A current forklift licence is essential for this role.

• Knowledge of WHS and warehouse safety standards.
• Current Forklift Licence - essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support the warehouse team.
• Allocate staff and labour to ensure the warehouse runs efficiently.
• Drive productivity and continuous improvement.
• Ensure all WHS and site safety standards are followed.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and daily safety checks.
• Oversee receiving, storing, picking and dispatching stock.
• Ensure trucks are loaded and unloaded safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate inventory and minimise stock discrepancies.
• Ensure customer orders and transfers between PAC Trading sites are completed on time.
• Support the team in delivering excellent customer service.
• Manage warehouse equipment, facilities and maintenance requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse.
• Monitor performance and take action where improvements are needed.

Our client is a leading Australian distributor and manufacturer of sustainable, compostable, and biodegradable food service packaging.

They supply eco-friendly alternatives to plastic products- including containers, cups, and cutlery- to cafes, restaurants, and businesses nationwide.

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Lead to take charge of the day-to-day warehouse operation.
You’ll lead by example, keep the team focused and productive, maintain high safety and inventory standards, and make sure customer orders and stock transfers are completed accurately and on time.
