Qualifications

• Experience supervising warehouse teams and daily operations.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with a can-do approach.

• Familiarity with Pronto or similar WMS is a plus; proficient with MS Office.
• Forklift licence is required to operate on-site.
• Adaptability to a fast-paced distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day warehouse operations at Seven Hills site, ensuring safety, accuracy, and timely delivery.
• Coach and support warehouse team members to maintain productivity and morale.
• Maintain accurate stock records and conduct regular stock takes.
• Oversee receipt, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch processes.
• Facilitate toolbox and safety meetings to uphold HSE standards.
• Pitch in on-floor operational tasks as needed to meet deadlines.

Reporting directly to the NSW Operations Manager, this role offers the chance to combine leadership, operational expertise, and a practical, problem-solving mindset in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing?

• Leading warehouse operations: Take charge of the day-to-day running of the Seven Hills Warehouse, ensuring operations are safe, efficient, and delivered on time.
• Supporting the team: Guide, coordinate, and support warehouse team members, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
• Managing stock accuracy: Maintain precise stock control and carry out regular stocktakes to keep inventory data reliable and up to date.
• Coordinating logistics flow: Oversee the receipt, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch of products to customers and other Exedy sites, keeping everything running smoothly.
• Championing safety: Facilitate ToolBox Meetings and lead site safety meetings and audits to ensure the warehouse consistently meets company HSE standards.
• Getting hands-on: Jump in and actively support operational activities on the floor whenever needed, demonstrating strong attention to detail and forward planning.

Who are they looking for?

• Supervisory experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution supervisory role would be well suited to this position.

• Warehouse and inventory expertise: A strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and stock control practices.
• Hands-on capability: Willingness and ability to work hands-on and pitch in with operational activities as required.
• Forklift licence: Holding a current Forklift Licence is required for this role.
• Adaptability: Flexibility, initiative, and a practical, can-do approach to solving operational challenges as they arise.
