Oxworks is Australia’s largest privately owned fencing products company, seeking a Warehouse Supervisor at our Dandenong branch. You will lead a fast-paced warehouse team, drive safe operations, and ensure efficient stock management and customer service.

The ideal candidate will have proven warehouse experience, strong leadership, stock control skills, ERP/Sage knowledge, and required licences (forklift, MR).

• Proven warehouse experience in manufacturing or distribution.
• Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
• Experience in stock control and coordinating warehouse operations.
• MS Office skills; Sage or other ERP systems preferred.
• Current forklift licence, valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
• MR truck licence desirable; knowledge of WHS/warehouse compliance.

The Role

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day warehouse operations, leading the warehouse team and ensuring the branch operates safely, efficiently and in line with company expectations. Key responsibilities include:

Overseeing all warehouse activities to ensure efficient workflows, accurate stock management and high levels of productivity.

Leading, coaching and developing warehouse employees through recruitment, training, performance management and ongoing development.

Promoting a customer focused culture and strong collaboration between Warehouse, Sales and other branch staff to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment, ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety legislation, relevant industrial awards and company policies.

Implementing company directives, monitoring operational performance and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity and service delivery.

Leading by example, upholding company values and maintaining high standards of professionalism, accountability and workplace discipline.

The Warehouse Supervisor plays a key role in the success of the branch, providing strong leadership, structure and accountability to ensure warehouse operations run smoothly and consistently deliver safe, efficient and high-quality outcomes.

The Applicant

The ideal candidate will have proven warehouse experience, strong leadership capabilities and the ability to manage a fast-paced operation while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy and customer service. They will be able to demonstrate:

Previous experience in warehouse operations, preferably within a manufacturing, distribution or similar environment.

Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, coach and manage a team effectively. (Required)

Experience in stock control, inventory management and coordinating warehouse operations to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, with experience using Sage and/or other ERP systems highly regarded.

A current forklift licence, valid driver’s licence and reliable transport. (Required)

A current MR truck licence or higher (desirable), along with a sound understanding of workplace health and safety and warehouse compliance requirements
