Job summary

Sharp and Carter on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead the dispatch team on shift and ensure safe, accurate loading to schedule.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will develop people, drive DIFOT, and uphold WHS and food-safety requirements while collaborating with Production, Maintenance and Engineering to optimise site performance.

Qualifications

• Experience as supervisor or team leader in warehousing, dispatch or production.
• Background in food, meat, dairy or cold chain is highly regarded.
• Solid knowledge of WHS requirements.
• Confident in using Microsoft Office and producing shift reports.
• Clear communicator with coaching skills and a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily manning to meet load schedules.
• Lead, coach and develop the warehouse team.
• Drive DIFOT, stock control and waste reduction.
• Keep throughput and load schedules on track and manage delays.
• Organise leave cover and cross-training.
• Deliver accurate shift reports and handovers.
• Support performance conversations with Warehouse Management.
• Uphold WHS, food safety and Department of Agriculture requirements.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance and Engineering.
