Job summary

Labourforce is seeking an experienced Warehouse Shift Supervisor for the AM shift at our Eastern Creek site. This full-time role is a 6-month contract with strong potential to extend to a permanent position, leading daily warehouse operations and a diverse team.

You will manage labour, safety and performance, ensuring on-time picking, stock replenishment, and cost control while upholding HACCP and OH&S standards. It’s a hands-on leadership position with meaningful operational impact.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience within FMCG warehouse operations.
• Experience working with automated warehousing systems.
• Strong knowledge of OH&S, HACCP and workplace legislation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift operations in line with transport schedules and service level targets.
• Ensure accurate and efficient order picking and stock replenishment.
• Allocate labour effectively to meet operational demands.
• Identify, escalate and resolve operational issues.
• Report on shift performance and recommend improvements.
• Control labour and operating expenses to meet budget targets.
• Monitor shrinkage and stock loss.
• Oversee cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Supervise, coach and support warehouse team members.
• Manage performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Train new starters and ensure clear communication across the shift.
• Foster a positive, high-performance team culture.
• Ensure full compliance with OHS policies and legislation.
• Promote safe manual handling practices.
• Comply with HACCP requirements, RTW processes and Chain of Responsibility obligations.

Are you an experienced warehouse leader who thrives in fast-paced FMCG operations? We’re looking for a hands-on Warehouse Shift Supervisor to lead shift operations, drive performance, and ensure customer orders are picked and delivered accurately and on time.

This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, supervising team members, managing costs, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

About the Role
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will:

Lead Daily Operations

• Oversee shift operations in line with transport schedules and service level targets


• Ensure accurate and efficient order picking and stock replenishment

About You

You are a proactive leader who can balance operational delivery with people leadership. You bring:

• Proven supervisory experience within FMCG warehouse operations


• Experience working with automated warehousing systems


• Strong knowledge of OH&S, HACCP and workplace legislation


• Sound understanding of labour cost management and inventory control


• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)


• Strong problem-solving and decision‑making skills


• The ability to motivate and engage a diverse team

What’s on Offer

• $95,000 – $105,000 inclusive of superannuation, depending on experience


• Initial 6-month contract, with strong potential to transition to a full-time permanent role
