Job summary

Vic Air Supplies Pty Ltd is seeking a practical and proactive Warehouse Supervisor in Keilor Park to lead day-to-day warehouse operations. You will manage stock accuracy, coordinate tasks, and ensure timely dispatch while maintaining a strong safety culture.

You will report to the COO and build a capable team, align stock movements with customer demand, and foster continuous improvement in warehouse processes and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a warehouse, inventory or logistics team with a hands-on leadership style.
• Strong stock-control and order-fulfilment knowledge with attention to detail.
• Clear communication, sound judgement and ability to coach staff while maintaining accountability.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and coordinate warehouse staff, including daily task allocation and performance expectations.
• Oversee receiving, put-away, picking, packing, order checks, stock movements and timely dispatch.
• Maintain stock accuracy through Wiise and cycle counts, stock investigations and interbranch transfers.
• Collaborate with Customer Service on dispatch priorities and provide coordination support to drivers.
• Maintain safe forklift, pedestrian, manual-handling and housekeeping practices and report hazards/incidents to the COO.
• Identify repeat errors and bottlenecks, improve processes and report operational performance.

About Us

Vic Air Supplies is Victoria’s trusted air conditioning supplier for trade professionals and commercial projects. Family owned since 1994, we are an established supplier of air conditioning, HVAC and ventilation products, stocking a complete range of air con supplies including ducting, grilles, diffusers, refrigerants and control systems.

All three Victorian branches carry stock for same-day trade collection - Dandenong South, Keilor Park and Shepparton. Our team works alongside installers, engineers and project managers to keep jobs on schedule.

About The Role

We are looking for a practical, organised and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operation of our Keilor Park warehouse. Reporting to the COO, you will build a strong team culture while keeping stock accurate, orders moving and safety front of mind.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach and coordinate warehouse staff, including daily task allocation, toolbox meetings and performance expectations.

Oversee receiving, put-away, picking, packing, order checks, stock movements and timely dispatch.

Maintain stock accuracy through Wiise, cycle counts, stock investigations and correctly processed interbranch transfers.

Work closely with Customer Service on dispatch priorities and delivery readiness, providing secondary coordination support to drivers.

Maintain safe forklift, pedestrian, manual-handling and housekeeping practices, and follow through on hazards and incidents.

Identify repeat errors and bottlenecks, improve processes and report operational performance and outstanding issues to the COO.

Qualifications and Experience

Experience leading a warehouse, inventory or logistics team, with a genuinely hands-on leadership style.

Strong stock-control and order-fulfilment knowledge, attention to detail and confidence managing changing priorities.

Clear communication, sound judgement and the ability to coach staff while maintaining accountability.

Confidence using inventory or ERP systems; experience with Wiise or Microsoft Dynamics NAV is an advantage.

A strong safety mindset.

A valid forklift licence will be advantageous.

HVAC industry knowledge will be highly regarded.
