Job summary

Rarekind is seeking an experienced warehouse leader to take ownership of a mid-day to evening shift, ensuring receiving, replenishment, inventory, picking and dispatch run safely and on time.

You will lead supervisors and frontline teams, balance labour, priorities and customer requirements, respond to issues, monitor performance and safety, and hand over clearly to the next shift, fostering accountability and a productive culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in warehouse, logistics or distribution leadership.
• Strong knowledge of end to end warehouse operations.
• Experience leading supervisors and operational teams.
• A genuine focus on safety, compliance and doing things the right way.
• Strong communication and people management skills.
• Ability to make good decisions quickly and calmly.
• Hands-on problem solving approach.
• Experience working with warehouse KPIs, labour planning and productivity targets.
• Continuous improvement mindset and ability to find better ways to operate.
• Ability to work autonomously while keeping stakeholders informed.

Responsibilities

What’s the gig?

You’ll take the lead across the shift, making sure everything from receiving, replenishment and inventory through to picking, packing and dispatch is running safely, accurately and on time.

You’ll be the person who keeps the big picture in view, balancing labour, priorities and customer requirements while supporting supervisors and warehouse teams to get the best out of their day.

When things don’t go to plan, you’ll be the one who steps in, works out what’s happening and gets things moving again.

You’ll also keep a close eye on shift performance, safety, productivity and service levels, looking for practical ways to improve how the warehouse operates.

And when it’s time to hand over to the next shift, you’ll make sure they know exactly what’s been done, what’s outstanding and what needs attention.

What you’ll bring:
