Job summary

BS3 is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to run the day-to-day of a busy pharmaceutical and medical warehouse in Victoria. You will oversee order processing, lead a team, and ensure products are handled safely and compliantly.

You’ll work in a regulated environment with GDP/GWP guidelines, manage inventories, temperature monitoring, and audits while keeping customers informed on order changes. Experience with a WMS and Microsoft 365, plus a strong focus on quality and safety, will help you succeed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a highly regulated industry (e.g., GMP or GDP).
• Experience leading or supervising a team in a warehouse.
• Strong knowledge of GDP/GWP, cold chain and controlled drug handling.
• Proficient with a WMS and Microsoft 365.
• Clear communication with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to stop work to address quality, safety or compliance risks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure orders meet GWP standards and timelines.
• Prioritise workflow to meet delivery timelines without compromising product integrity.
• Lead, train and support Warehouse Operators and address performance issues.
• Act as first point of contact for customers on orders and inventory queries.
• Run WMS reports, reconcile data, and investigate stock variances.
• Oversee handling of Schedule 2, 3, 4, 8 and 9 medicines under strict controls.
• Monitor temperature data and report deviations.
• Facilitate investigations, CAPAs, change controls and audits.
• Run safety risk assessments and enforce PPE and Dangerous Goods procedures.
• Supervise contractors on site and maintain a safe, secure warehouse.

You’ll keep orders moving, keep the team on track, and make sure every product is handled safely and compliantly. What you’ll do

• Prioritise workflow to meet delivery timelines without compromising product integrity
• Lead, train and support Warehouse Operators, and address performance issues promptly and respectfully
• Act as the first point of contact for customers on order changes and inventory queries
• Run WMS reports and reconciliations, and investigate stock variances
• Oversee handling of Schedule 2, 3, 4, 8 and 9 medicines under strict security and chain-of-custody controls
• Monitor and trend temperature data, and report deviations and excursions
• Facilitate investigations, CAPAs, change controls and customer complaints, and support audits
• Run safety risk assessments and enforce PPE, traffic management and Dangerous Goods procedures
• Supervise contractors on site and keep the warehouse clean, safe and secure

What you’ll bring

• At least 4 years’ experience in a highly regulated industry, such as GMP or GDP
• Proven experience leading or supervising a team
• Strong knowledge of GDP/GWP, cold chain and controlled drug handling
• Confidence with a WMS and Microsoft 365
• Clear communication skills and a customer-focused approach
• Confidence to stop work and escalat when quality, safety or compliance is at risk
• First Aid or Fire Warden certification (desirable)
