Job summary

Link Healthcare is seeking a warehouse professional to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders and dispatch of goods, applying pharmaceutical warehousing skills with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include receiving goods, processing receipts and returns, picking and packing, maintaining despatch records, assembling urgent orders, and ensuring all stock transactions are recorded.

You will maintain GDP compliance and safety, and support administration with up-to-date

Qualifications

• Demonstrated logistics experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or medical industry.
• Strong written and numerical skills.
• A thorough understanding of Good Distribution Practice (GDP).
• Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to work.

Responsibilities

Job description

Responsible for the timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders and the dispatching of goods. The incumbent will possess a range of pharmaceutical warehousing skills and be expected to carry out a variety of tasks supporting pharmaceutical warehousing without direct supervision when applying these skills. The incumbent will be expected to perform to LINK standards in all accredited skill areas and to have a detailed understanding of the processes which drive those aspects of the pharmaceutical warehousing in which he or she is accredited.

Key responsibilities

• Receive goods and process appropriate receipts
• Process goods returned for credit

Warehouse Maintenance and Compliance

• Ensure all GDP requirements are within governmental regulation guidelines
• Adhere to all safety instructions and workplace procedures
• Report any identified hazards / accidents or incidents
• Ensure warehouse is maintained in good order and condition

Administration

• Ensure filing and documentation is up-to-date and is compliant with standard processes and formats
• Participate in meetings as needed
• Liaise with management and staff to ensure projects are conducted efficiently
• Communicate with staff & management using proper channels
• Master computer skills and required software programs

Knowledge and Compliance

• Carry out your duties in adherence to GDP regulations

• Promptly notify LINK’s pharmacovigilance unit of all adverse reactions reported on LINK’s products
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of LINK’s standard operating procedures and policies and ensure compliance at all times

Requirements

• Demonstrated logistics experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or medical industry
• A current first aid certificate is advantageous
• Hold appropriate license for forklift operation, where appropriate
• Strong written and numerical skills
• A thorough understanding of Good Distribution Practice (GDP)
• Team-oriented, with a collaborative approach to work
