Job summary

Rogers Transport Pty Ltd in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead the modern Lytton facility's operations. You will supervise staff, plan labour, coordinate container unpacking and ensure safe, efficient movement of freight.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will drive productivity, maintain accuracy of paperwork, and train staff while maintaining a strong safety culture in a busy daily operation.

• Oversee truck loading/unloading, freight staging and dispatch.
• Collaborate with transport and warehouse administration to keep freight moving and minimize delays.
• Monitor productivity, maintain accountability and address issues promptly.
• Ensure stock movements, paperwork and damage reports are completed.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who can organise people, assign tasks and keep daily warehouse operations running safely and efficiently. You’ll need a solid understanding of transport, warehousing and container unpacks, with the ability to manage changing priorities and meet customer requirements.

About the Role

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will:

• Supervise warehouse operational staff and allocate daily tasks.
• Plan labour and equipment around incoming freight, container unpacks and dispatch requirements.
• Coordinate container unpacks, checking freight and ensuring it is handled and stored correctly.
• Oversee truck loading and unloading, freight staging and dispatch.
• Work closely with transport and warehouse administration teams to keep freight moving and minimise delays.
• Monitor productivity, maintain accountability and address operational issues promptly.
• Ensure stock movements, paperwork and damage reports are completed accurately.
• Lead toolbox talks, reinforce safe work practices and maintain a clean, organised workplace.
• Train and support staff, setting clear expectations for performance and teamwork.
• Assist on the warehouse floor when required.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience supervising a warehouse or transport operations team.
• A practical understanding of warehousing, transport operations and container unpacks.
• Strong task allocation, planning and people management skills.
• Confidence directing staff and following up to ensure work is completed.
• The ability to adapt to changing workloads and resolve problems under pressure.
• Clear communication and good attention to detail.A strong commitment to safety, productivity and customer service.
• A current LF Forklift Licence and practical forklift experience.
• Experience handling varied freight, including bulky or oversized products, would be an advantage.

Salary: $95,000–$100,000 per annum + super, with flexibility for the right candidate.
