Job summary

Wabtec Corporation invites applications for a warehouse-based role in Western Australia. The position emphasizes safe material movements, stock control, and compliance with EHS standards while coordinating with logistics providers to ensure timely despatch of goods.

The successful candidate will have warehouse experience, current Driver and Forklift Licences, and strong PC skills including MS Office and ERP systems. Travel may be required, and the role offers a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience within a manufacturing or services warehousing environment.
• Effective organisational, time management, multi-tasking, and communication skills.
• Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office and MRP/ERP systems.
• Current Driver Licence and Forklift Licence
• Desirable: First Aid, Fire Warden, Overhead Gantry Crane

Responsibilities

• Comply with EHS & Quality requirements in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Conduct material movements, forklift operations, goods receipting, and coordinate with logistics providers for collection and despatch.
• Conduct stock takes and/or cycle counts.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and material traceability through stores processes and system transactions.
• Ensure all relevant documentation and data entry for stores and warehouse tasks are completed accurately.
• Escalate issues and provide recommendations to site leadership on EHS, quality, and continuous improvement matters.
• Support other Stores team members with relevant processes and knowledge to support Operations goals.
• Actively participate in team meetings, training and development activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment; ensure equipment prestart checks and maintenance.
• Support continuous improvement, lean and 5S initiatives.
• Maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers.
• Take ownership of responsibilities and contribute to business performance goals and customer satisfaction.
• Be willing to work additional hours; travel may be required.
