Job summary

Wabtec in Dampier is seeking a Store Person to manage inventory and support the inventory and supply chain function on site. You will receive, store and issue goods, maintain accuracy in the inventory system, and assist with stock reconciliation and basic deliveries.

The role requires a valid forklift licence, a drivers license, and strong safety focus. The successful candidate will work a 7 days on, 7 days off roster (12 hours per day) at a client site, with emphasis on teamwork and adherence

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience working as a Store Person.
• Valid drivers license and forklift licence.
• Computer literacy and basic inventory knowledge.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory and stock control at the store.
• Receipting and locating stock; maintain orderly storage.
• Adhere to safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Support cost/time-efficient store procedures and reporting.
• Assist with local deliveries/collections as required.
• Record accurate information in timesheets and systems.
