Wabtec in Dampier is seeking a Store Person to manage inventory and support the inventory and supply chain function on site. You will receive, store and issue goods, maintain accuracy in the inventory system, and assist with stock reconciliation and basic deliveries.
The role requires a valid forklift licence, a drivers license, and strong safety focus. The successful candidate will work a 7 days on, 7 days off roster (12 hours per day) at a client site, with emphasis on teamwork and adherence

Wabtec Global Freight Services provides offering to customer which include technology, people, and processes, designed to maximize reliability and availability of customers’ locomotives at optimal operating costs. These tailored solutions meet each customer’s operating needs for fleet strategy, and changing business trends, ensuring we help customers achieve their desired business outcomes. These offerings include tailored Maintenance Contracts, Overhauls, Asset Performance Management, Upgrades and modernisations.
The position will be working from Customer site in Dampier. The successful candidate will need to reside in the Karratha area (FIFO is not offered for this position)
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for effectively managing the inventory in the store at the place of employment and will assist with stock control, stock reconciliation, stock order and stock received/distributed. The Store person will be part of the wider Inventory and supply chain department and will assist in the upkeep of cost and time effective procedures which will in turn maintain the Inventory and Supply Chain’s operational needs.
Successful candidates will be required to complete background and criminal history check.
