Job summary

Wabtec Australia is seeking a hands-on Stores/Warehouse operative to join our Perth-area site. You will handle materials, stock accuracy, and adherence to EHS/quality standards while supporting operations and colleagues to meet delivery goals.

Key responsibilities include forklift operations, goods receipt and despatch, cycle counts, data entry, and proactive participation in continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring a safe, efficient warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience within a manufacturing or services warehousing environment.
• Strong MS Office and MRP/ERP systems experience.
• Current Driver Licence and Forklift Licence required.
• Willing to obtain First Aid, Fire Warden, Overhead Gantry Crane qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Comply with EHS & Quality requirements.
• Conduct material movements and forklift operations with timely coordination with logistics providers.
• Conduct stock takes and/or cycle counts; maintain inventory accuracy.
• Ensure documentation and data entry for stores and warehouse tasks are complete and accurate.
• Escalate issues and provide recommendations to site leadership on EHS, quality and continuous improvement.
