Job summary

Ventia is seeking a Warehouse Storeperson at our Withcott facility in Queensland. This hands-on role supports rig and well servicing operations, reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor. Your day will include receiving deliveries, loading/unloading, picking/packing, returns handling, and coordinating with suppliers to keep stock moving efficiently.

We value safety, accuracy, and teamwork. A forklift licence is desirable, with additional training and a permanent, Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift licence desirable.
• Physically fit to lift and shift stock.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and processing inbound deliveries.
• Loading and unloading trucks with care and efficiency.
• Picking and packing freight for scheduled runs.
• Handling equipment returns, rectifications, and material transfers.
• Liaising with suppliers for repairs, refurbishments, and certifications.
• Managing routable spares in coordination with supply and operations teams.
• Performing general warehousing duties to keep operations running smoothly.

Skills and Experience

We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse setting and enjoys working with people from diverse backgrounds.
You’ll bring:

• Previous warehouse experience (highly regarded)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Solid computer skills, confident with emails, inventory systems, and receipting
• A forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
• Experience with spare parts, mining, or automotive industries (a bonus!)
• A customer-focused mindset and ability to follow instructions
• Physical capability to handle repetitive lifting in a busy environment
