Job summary

Darth Industries is a leading tiles importer and wholesaler in Australia. We are seeking a dedicated warehouse operative to manage stock, packing and dispatch with a focus on accuracy and safety.

In this full-time role you will operate a forklift, pick and pack orders, check deliveries, perform stocktakes and maintain a tidy, compliant warehouse environment with a team that values reliability and proactivity.

Qualifications

• Current and valid forklift licence required.
• Experience in warehouse picking, packing and dispatch is essential.
• Able to operate in a warehouse environment and handle goods up to 30 kg.
• Reliable, punctual and detail-oriented with strong work standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely to move, load and unload pallets.
• Unload shipping containers and handle stock during unloads.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and customer vehicles.
• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch and collection.
• Check incoming stock against paperwork and report discrepancies or damaged goods.
• Perform stocktakes and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Ensure safe handling and storage to minimise damage.
• Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and well organised.
• Ensure orders are picked accurately and completed correctly.
• Follow procedures and health and safety requirements.

Job description

Darth Industries is a leading importer and wholesaler of tiles supplying quality products to retailers across Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Operating a forklift safely to move, load and unload pallets of tiles and other stock


• Unloading shipping containers and safely handling stock during container unloads


• Loading and unloading delivery trucks and customer vehicles


• Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch and collection


• Checking incoming stock against delivery paperwork and reporting discrepancies or damaged goods


• Performing stocktakes, maintaining inventory accuracy and replenishing stock locations


• Ensuring tiles and other products are handled, stored and stacked correctly to minimise damage


• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and well organised


• Ensuring customer orders are picked accurately and completed correctly


• Following company procedures and workplace health and safety requirements, including safe manual handling practices

About you

• Current and valid car & forklift licence


• Previous warehouse experience is essential, particularly in picking, packing and dispatch


• Experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment


• Physically fit and capable of safely handling heavy products, including items weighing up to 30kg


• Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining high work standards


• Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• A proactive attitude and willingness to take responsibility for daily warehouse duties
