Job summary

Mace Engineering Group in Melbourne is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join a busy team reporting to the Warehouse Manager. You will thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, handling pick-and-pack tasks and assisting with stock control.

You will receive and inspect goods, document items, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while using basic computer skills to log activities. This is a full-time role with a day shift and hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum VCE or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of warehouse experience.
• Experience with pick-and-pack operations (preferred).
• Physically fit and able to lift medium to heavy items.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack products for dispatch.
• Receive and inspect inward goods, ensuring quality and accuracy.
• Document and record goods, materials, and components.
• Process and package products, label items, and organise shelving.
• Assist with stock control and regular stock takes.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace.
• Operate manual and material handling equipment for loading and unloading.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols.

The Role We're seeking a motivated and energetic Warehouse Assistant to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you'll thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, contributing to the smooth operation of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

Pick and pack products for dispatch.

Receive and inspect inward goods, ensuring quality and accuracy.

Document and record goods, materials, and components.

Process and package products, label items, and organise shelving.

Assist with stock control and regular stock takes.

Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace.

Operate manual and material handling equipment (pallet stacker) for loading and unloading.

Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including the use of protective equipment.

What We're Looking For

Minimum VCE or equivalent.

1-2 years of warehouse experience.

Experience with pick-and-pack operations (preferred).

Physically fit and able to lift medium to heavy items.

Basic computer skills.
