Job summary

Brandt Ballarat is seeking a reliable Warehouse Person to support the Parts Department in a busy, hands-on role. You will handle picking, packing, receiving, and stock control to ensure timely dispatch and accurate inventory, working with a collaborative team across our parts and service functions.

Experience in warehousing or parts logistics is helpful; forklift licence is valued, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and proactive inventory management in a global equipment network.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or inventory experience is advantageous.
• Forklift licence or experience is highly regarded.
• Good communication and teamwork are essential.
• Able to handle parts safely and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing parts and preparing orders for dispatch
• Receiving, unloading, and checking incoming stock
• Locating and storing inventory in the correct warehouse locations
• Accurately recording stock movements within our inventory system
• Loading and unloading trucks and deliveries
• Operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely
• Inspecting outgoing shipments and ensuring orders are prepared correctly
• Completing stock counts and assisting with inventory control
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse
• Working closely with the Parts team to ensure stock is available when required

About the role:

As a Warehouse Person, you’ll support the day‑to‑day operation of our Parts Department, ensuring stock is received, stored, picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and efficiently.

You’ll be reliable, organised, and comfortable working in a hands‑on warehouse environment as part of a team.

• Previous warehouse, stores, logistics, parts, or inventory experience is advantageous
• Forklift experience and/or licence is highly regarded
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Physically capable of safely handling parts and goods
• Comfortable working independently when required
• Basic computer skills and confidence learning inventory systems
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Experience within agriculture, automotive, construction, or heavy equipment is advantageous but not essential
