AkzoNobel Australia is seeking a Warehouse Assistant/Operator to support daily operations at the Karratha Trade Centre. You will handle order processing, stock handling, despatch, and reporting, while maintaining safety and 5S housekeeping standards.

Key requirements include a valid forklift license, experience with SAP, and strong planning, organization and teamwork. This role emphasizes accuracy, customer service, and adherence to health and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse role is desirable.
• Valid forklift license and experience operating a counterbalance forklift.
• Proficiency in SAP is desirable, along with excellent planning, organizing, and time management skills.

Responsabilités

• Support daily operations of the Karratha Warehouse and Trade Centre.
• Provide high-quality customer service, including order processing, communication and stock handling.
• Process documentation such as ROSAs, dangerous goods paperwork, sales and delivery documents.
• Manage stock: receiving, replenishment, picking, packing, despatching, cycle counts and stocktakes.
• Handle damaged stock and customer enquiries/complaints.
• Perform purchasing, despatch and invoicing tasks as required.
• Assist with reporting, data entry and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping (5S) and environmental standards, including immediate spill control.
• Communicate with suppliers and work collaboratively with the Trade Centre team.
• Conduct routine equipment checks and report defects.
• Support the Trade Centre in the manager’s absence.
