Job summary

GEODIS in Sydney is seeking a Warehouse Operator to handle under-bond sea and air freight, load and unload containers, and support biosecurity and inspections. This role offers flexible options including part-time, full-time, or hybrid working, with onsite Matraville facilities.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in operations, a valid driver’s licence, a High Risk Work Licence, and forklift tickets (LF, Reach/Counterbalance).

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years’ operational experience in the freight/logistics industry.
Valid Driver's licence and High Risk Work Licence.
Valid Forklift LF ticket; LO licence is a bonus.
Reach Truck and Counterbalance Forklift experience required.
Load and Restraint handling experience.

Responsibilities

Receive, unpack and locate under-bond sea/air freight with cargo integrity.
Assist ABF/DAFF Officers during site inspections and biosecurity washdowns.
Identify and report shortages, over-ships or damaged cargo per SOPs.
Safely load/unload containers, flat racks, and trucks using forklifts.
Accurate barcode scanning and WMS data entry.
Maintain biosecurity cleanliness and pest prevention on site.
