Job summary

Visy is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operator at our Melbourne distribution centre to support day-to-day warehousing tasks. The role runs from 5.30am to 1.30pm, Monday to Friday, and involves selecting orders, scanning, operating a Counterbalance forklift, loading/unloading trucks and manual handling up to 25kg.

You will join a safety‑driven team, maintaining equipment cleanliness and following procedures while working independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Hold current Forklift Ticket with experience loading and unloading trucks.
• Experience in working in a fast paced warehousing environment.
• Computer literacy and experience with WMS systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems
• Have a strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Great work ethic with the ability to work autonomously or part of a team.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this role supports the warehousing and logistics function of our Distribution Centre in Epping. This is a full time permanent position working day shift hours, Monday to Friday 5.30am to 1.30pm.

• Prepare orders for despatch according to picking slip
• RF Scanning
• Operation of Counterbalance forklifts.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Manual handling of up to 25kg
