Job summary

Visy is seeking a Service Technician to join the service team, based out of Gibson Island. The role involves field-based maintenance, servicing and repairs across forklifts, loaders, EWPs and mobile plant equipment at Visy sites.

The position includes a Monday–Friday schedule with overtime, a company vehicle and phone supplied. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs and ensure safe, efficient operation across multiple Visy locations.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Diesel/Mobile Plant.
• Hands-on experience with forklifts, EWPs and mobile plant equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a service role.
• Current driver’s licence required.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain and service mobile machinery across Visy sites.
• Conduct fault finding and diagnostics tasks.
• Attend to machinery breakdowns and scheduled maintenance.
• Record jobs completed and parts used to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to Health, Safety & Environmental policies.

About The Opportunity

We are seeking a Service Technician to join our growing service team, based out of Gibson Island. This role involves field-based maintenance, servicing and repairs across forklifts, loaders, EWPs and mobile plant equipment at Visy sites.

• Shift Details: Monday to Friday (8hrs) + OT
• Vehicle + phone supplied

What You'll Do

• Repair, maintain and service our mobile machinery across our Brisbane and Gold Coast sites.
• Conduct fault finding and diagnostics tasks.
• Attend to machinery breakdowns and completing scheduled maintenance.
• Recording jobs completed and parts consumed, to ensure accurate inventory.
• Ensuring all Health, Safety & Environmental policies and procedures are complied with.

What You Will Bring

• Trade qualification (Diesel Mechanic, Mobile Plant Mechanic or similar)
• Hands-on experience with forklifts, EWPs and/or mobile plant equipment
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Ability to work autonomously in a service role
• Current driver's licence (essential)
• Reliable, well-organised and customer focused
