Job summary

Epiroc Australia is seeking a Warehouse Operative for our Mackay Warehouse, Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm. You will support dispatch deadlines in a dynamic environment and participate in an on-call roster to assist customers. Local inventory control, stocktakes, and goods receipt/dispatch are core responsibilities.

The role requires at least 12 months in a similar warehousing position, a valid driver’s license, and a forklift ticket, along with strong computer literacy and customer service skills.

Qualifications

Epiroc Australia is looking for enthusiastic and organised Warehouse Operative based in our Mackay Warehouse, working Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm. You will need to have the drive to learn and develop in the role and the ability to meet dispatch deadlines in an ever-changing environment. You must also be available for on call roster.

As a successful Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for:

• The development of strong customer relationships
• Local inventory maintenance, including stocktake
• Participation in the on-call support roster for emergency customer support
• Stock quality monitoring
• Goods receipt/dispatch
• Freight delivery
• General administration as required

Key requirements of the role would include:

• Minimum 12 months experience in a similar role
• Must possess a valid driver's license and forklift ticket
• Strong computer literacy with attention to detail
• Exceptional customer service
• Leadership skills
• Experience in a fast-paced environment
• The ability to organise, manage workflow and multi-task
• Be adaptable to ensure our clients' needs are met
