Job summary

DEJ's Packaging is seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse & Operations Team Member to join our growing Ballarat team. This is a hands-on role in a multi SKU, fast-paced warehouse environment where accuracy, productivity, and accountability are essential.

You'll be responsible for picking and packing customer orders, replenishing warehouse stock locations, receiving and putting away incoming stock, operating forklifts and pickers, and maintaining a safe, organised, and efficient warehouse.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a warehouse or distribution centre environment.
• Minimum 2+ years of proven warehouse or distribution centre experience.
• Current Forklift Licence (LF) – Essential
• Current Medium Rigid (MR) Driver Licence – Essential
• Sound understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to warehouse operations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all warehouse processes
• Physical capability to perform warehouse duties including lifting and moving items
• Experience with MR vehicle deliveries is a plus

What you'll be doing

From time to time there will be some deliveries in our Truck or Van (both require MR Licence).

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working in a warehouse or distribution centre environment.
• Minimum 2+ years of proven warehouse or distribution centre experience is required for this position.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
• Proficiency in using warehouse technology and computer systems
• Current Forklift Licence (LF) – Essential
• Current Medium Rigid (MR) Driver Licence – Essential
• Sound understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to warehouse operations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all warehouse processes
• Physical capability to perform warehouse duties including lifting and moving items
• Ability to safely lift and move items weighing up to 30kg as part of daily warehouse operations.
• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to improving operations
• Experience in Warehouse Management Systems advantageous but not required.
