Job summary

Responsibilities

We’re looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our growing team!

We are a specialist Sensitive Freight Company servicing the commercial catering and restaurant equipment industry. We are seeking a hands-on, organised and experienced Warehouse Manager who understands the importance of careful product handling, stock control and delivering a high level of service.

About the Role

This is a hands-on management position responsible for the day-to-day operation and organisation of our warehouse, including:

Managing and supervising a team of warehouse staff

Checking products in and out of the warehouse

Accurate stock control and warehouse organisation

Coordinating and scheduling technicians and cleaners

Ensuring products are handled, stored and prepared correctly

Implementing and maintaining effective warehouse processes and systems

Improving efficiency, productivity and workflow

Ensuring the warehouse is clean, safe and well organised

Liaising with internal staff, customers, technicians and transport teams

About You – Essential

We are looking for someone who has:

Previous experience in commercial catering / restaurant equipment – ESSENTIAL

Current forklift licence – ESSENTIAL

Proven experience managing and leading a team

Strong warehouse and stock control experience

Excellent organisational and time-management skills

Experience developing, implementing and improving processes and systems

A practical, hands-on approach to warehouse management

Excellent attention to detail

The ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Experience with commercial kitchen, catering or restaurant equipment is highly desirable and will be a key requirement for this position.
