Job summary

Sirius People is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager for a busy NSW facility in the CBD. The role leads daily operations across receiving, storage, order fulfillment and dispatch, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Candidates should have hands-on furniture or bulky goods experience, a proven leadership record, and solid familiarity with warehouse systems and end-to-end logistics. Full-time, on-site role with regular daytime hours and onsite parking is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a site that handles heavy/bulky items.
• Proven track record of leading a team to high engagement and productivity.
• Solid understanding of warehouse systems, inventory control, and end-to-end logistics.
• Up-to-date knowledge of WHS regulations and safe manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Lead a floor crew of 5 staff, driving engagement and productivity.
• Oversee daily operations: container scheduling, devanning, stock, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Maintain stock accuracy through cycle counts and stocktakes with clear reporting.
• Drive a strong safety culture on site and ensure safe handling of heavy/bulky goods.
• Identify practical process improvements to boost efficiency on the floor.

Warehouse Manager | Bulky Goods & Furniture

Location: CBD, NSW

Salary: $110,000 – $120,000 + Super

Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)

I am looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to step in and take full ownership of a busy NSW facility.

What You’ll Be Doing

Reporting directly to the Head of Supply Chain, you’ll be running daily operations and leading from the front:

• Leading the Team: Guiding, training, and motivating a floor crew of 5 staff to keep engagement and productivity high.
• Daily Operations: Overseeing container scheduling, devanning, incoming stock, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Inventory & Stock Control: Keeping stock accuracy tight through regular cycle counts, full stocktakes, and accurate reporting.
• WHS & Safety: Driving a strong safety culture on site, particularly around safe manual handling of heavy and bulky items.
• Process Improvement: Finding practical ways to streamline floor processes and boost operational efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

• Furniture / Bulky Goods Experience: Direct, hands-on experience managing a site that handles heavy, non-standard items is essential.
• Strong Leadership Skills: A proven track record of managing, developing, and getting the best out of a team.
• Logistics & WMS Savvy: Solid understanding of warehouse systems, inventory management, and end-to-end supply chain logistics.
• Safety First: Up-to-date knowledge of WHS regulations and safe manual handling practices.
• Organised & Practical: A proactive problem-solver who can handle shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
