Job summary

CDK Stone in Sydney, NSW, is seeking a hands-on Logistics Coordinator to keep stock moving across Australia. Mix desk-based planning with warehouse duties, including overhead crane operations, loading, and stock presentation of premium stone slabs.

You will book freight, coordinate transfers, and ensure on-time deliveries from our Alexandria centre. You’ll thrive when juggling competing priorities, plan ahead, and communicate clearly with sales, freight partners, and destinations.

About You

• You’ve spent time in a warehouse, maybe even coordinating one, and you’ve noticed the part you enjoy most happens behind the scenes: planning the runs, booking the freight and working out how to get stock where it needs to be.
• You’ve always got a system, whether that’s a spreadsheet, a whiteboard or a well-worn to-do list. You stay on top of competing priorities, plan ahead and rarely need anyone to chase you.
• You’re not ready to trade the warehouse for a desk full-time, though. You want a role where you can sort out a freight problem in the morning and be on the crane presenting slabs in the afternoon.

About the Role

• Keep stock moving across Australia, bringing together sales requests into practical, cost-effective freight runs.
• Book freight and track transfers, coordinating pick-ups and deliveries with carriers from booking through to arrival.
• Keep things moving when plans change, solving delays and last-minute issues with sales, warehouse and freight teams.
• Keep stock records accurate, coordinating stocktakes, resolving discrepancies and managing adjustments and incoming stock.
• Bring people together to get things done, building relationships across Australia and keeping expectations, actions and timeframes clear.
• Switch the desk for the warehouse, operating the overhead crane to move and present Natural Stone slabs and receive incoming stock.

Selection Criteria

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to reliably commute to the Alexandria selection centre via public transport
