The Floor Company is seeking a reliable Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator to manage our Sydney distribution hub on a permanent, full-time basis. You will handle end-to-end warehouse workflows, including unloading, stock placement, picking, packing and local site drops.
Starting early, you will work 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend support. The role requires LF forklift certification and a clean driving record, plus a White Card and full working rights in Australia.
We are an established and growing flooring distributor supplying premium timber, hybrid, laminate, and commercial surface solutions across Sydney. We pride ourselves on product quality, reliable logistics, and exceptional service to our network of trade contractors, builders, and commercial clients.
We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and safety-conscious Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator to take ownership of our warehouse facility on a permanent, full-time basis.
Working primary day hours from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM (Monday – Friday), you will serve as the operational anchor of our distribution hub. Operating independently, you will manage end-to-end warehouse workflows—from container unloads and batch-controlled stock placement to precision picking, trade counter collections, and occasional local site drops.
Safely operate counterbalance and reach forklifts to unload containers, tautliners, and line-haul trucks.
Check incoming stock against purchase orders, verifying batch numbers, dye lots, and carton quantities.
Put away materials into racking, ensuring meticulous stock care and strict batch consolidation.
Accurately pick, pack, strap, and wrap orders for couriers, project sites, and trade collections.
Assist trade installers and clients collecting materials at our trade dispatch counter.
Complete occasional local site deliveries and urgent top-up drops using the company ute/van.
Collect and manage signed Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation on site.
Conduct routine inventory cycle counts, full stocktakes, and facility housekeeping.
Support occasional, scheduled ad-hoc weekend requirements (e.g., quarterly stocktaking or priority dispatches) as operational needs require.
Valid LF Forklift Licence with confident operating experience (essential).
Current, clean Australian Driver’s Licence (Class C) with a solid driving record (essential).
Previous warehouse experience (background in flooring, building materials, timber, or hardware wholesale is highly regarded).
Physical fitness and stamina to handle 20–25 kg flooring cartons safely throughout the day.
High attention to detail with batch codes, product finishes, and order accuracy.
Flexibility to support occasional ad-hoc weekend operational tasks when required.
A valid White Card (or willingness to obtain one for site drop-offs).
Reliable, punctual, and ready for a consistent 6:00 AM start.
Full working rights in Australia.
Remuneration: Competitive salary package commensurate with experience + 12% Superannuation.
Modern Equipment: Clean, organized facility with well-maintained forklifts and company delivery vehicles.
Autonomous Work: Take pride in managing your own space with direct support from business leadership.
