Lindsay Australia in Melbourne's depot is seeking a Warehouse Leading Hand to support day-to-day operations, supervise a small team, and ensure safe, efficient handling of perishable goods. The role runs on afternoon shift from 12 pm, Monday to Friday, with focus on coordinating loading/unloading, paperwork accuracy, and meeting timeslot requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience and ability to lead or support a small team.
• Experience in inventory management.
• Current forklift licence.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience loading and unloading freight, including perishable goods.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Flexibility and resilience to changing priorities.
• Solid computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day warehouse floor operations.
• Coordinate loading, unloading and consolidation of perishable goods.
• Meet all timeslot requirements.
• Complete paperwork and reporting accurately and on time.
• Provide hands-on guidance to team and escalate issues to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Maintain safe work practices across all warehouse operations.
