Job summary

XGA Modular is hiring a Warehouse Operator in New South Wales. You will operate forklifts and a crawler crane where qualified, move materials around the factory and yard, and support stock control and deliveries. The role suits someone who stays active, is proactive and takes ownership of responsibilities.

You will work with internal teams and contractors, ensuring materials and equipment are available when needed, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications

Job description

You'll play an important role in keeping our warehouse, factory and yard operations running smoothly. Working alongside our internal teams, subcontractors and contractors, you'll help coordinate deliveries, distribute materials and ensure the right equipment and supplies are available when needed. This is a varied, hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys staying active, solving problems and taking ownership of their responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, site vehicles and material-handling equipment to transport and distribute materials around the factory and yard.
• Operate a crawler crane where required, provided you hold the appropriate qualifications and authorisations.
• Receive, inspect and coordinate incoming deliveries, including signing for goods where required.
• Photograph deliveries and upload records to the designated company WhatsApp group.
• Deliver and distribute materials to subcontractors, contractors and factory teams.
• Maintain clear communication via two-way radio with warehouse staff and other departments.
• Assist contractors with locating materials and responding to operational requests.
• Support stock control, material organisation and equipment management.
• Assist with the safe loading, unloading and movement of materials.
• Maintain clean, safe and organised warehouse, factory and yard areas.

• Experienced in operating a forklift and/or crawler crane.

• Previous warehouse, yard or manufacturing experience is advantageous. A current forklift licence and demonstrated forklift operating experience will be highly regarded. Crawler crane operating experience and relevant qualifications or licences will also be an advantage.
