Job summary

Kronospan Limited is seeking a warehouse forklift operator in Sydney, Australia. The role involves handling heavy wood-based panels, loading/unloading goods, and ensuring accurate order picking and stock control.

You will work within a safety-focused environment and contribute to efficient daily warehouse operations. Applicants should hold a current LF forklift licence, have proven forklift experience in a warehouse, and demonstrate reliability, punctuality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Valid Australian Forklift Licence (LF) essential.
• Proven experience operating forklifts (high-reach or heavy-capacity) in a warehouse/industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and Work Health and Safety (WHS) practices.
• Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks safely.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when picking orders and checking stock.
• Reliable, punctual and team‑oriented with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely to load, unload, move, and stack wood-based panels and materials in the warehouse.
• Prepare and pick orders accurately based on shipping documents with high quality and proper packing.
• Load and unload delivery trucks and containers following safety procedures and scheduling requirements.
• Receive incoming stock, verify quantities against delivery notes, and allocate items to locations.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with stock control using the tracking system.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace in line with WHS regulations.
• Perform daily pre-operational checks on forklifts and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Collaborate with logistics, dispatch, and admin teams to ensure smooth daily operations.

Conducting regular inventory counts and assisting with stock control management using the company's tracking system

Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering strictly to Work Health and Safety (WHS) regulations

Performing daily pre-operational checks on forklifts and reporting any maintenance or safety issues immediately to the supervisor

Collaborating effectively with the logistics, dispatch, and administrative teams to ensure smooth daily operations

About you
