Job summary

Segen Consulting Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Warehouse Dispatch Storeperson in Melbourne to join a busy manufacturing operation. This hands-on role involves picking, packing, dispatch preparation, and forklift operation to keep daily shipments on track.

You will operate counterbalance forklifts, manage stock movements, and work with automated storage systems. The ideal candidate has a current LF forklift licence, strong attention to detail, and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar warehouse, dispatch or storeperson role is essential.
• Current Australian Forklift Licence (LF) - essential.
• Proven experience operating counterbalance forklifts.
• Experience with automated storage systems highly regarded.
• Strong picking, packing and dispatch experience.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
• Reliable, physically capable and safety-conscious.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to get involved in all warehouse activities.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch
• Operate counterbalance forklifts to safely move materials and finished goods
• Load, unload and organise stock within the warehouse
• Operate automated storage and retrieval systems
• Ensure orders are accurately picked, packed and ready for dispatch
• Replenish stock and move materials between warehouse locations
• Maintain accurate stock movements and warehouse records
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised and safe
• Work closely with the warehouse team to meet daily dispatch deadlines
