Backcountry Outfitters are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking Warehouse & Customer Service Assistant for a casual or full-time role supporting our wholesale warehouse operations. This position has a strong focus on speed, accuracy, and adaptability, while also providing customer service support to our trade and wholesale customers.

Role Responsibilities

• Providing customer service support via phone and email, including order enquiries, freight queries, and general product support.
• Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders with a high level of accuracy.
• Assisting with incoming deliveries and put-away of stock, including cross-checking delivery dockets for accuracy.
• Ability to use invoicing, inventory, and logistics systems.
• Handling warranty claims and liaising with customers and suppliers where required.
• Maintaining a high level of professionalism when dealing with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Confident decision-making in situations of ambiguity, with the ability to clearly communicate reasoning and outcomes.
• Identifying and advising on opportunities for continuous improvement within warehouse operations and customer processes.
• Demonstrated knowledge of, or strong interest in, the firearm and outdoor industry.

Key Selection Criteria

• Current valid firearms licence.
• Forklift licence.
• QLD driver’s licence.
