Oz Best Dealz is a growing Australian eCommerce retailer specialising in 4x4 accessories, outdoor recreation and camping gear. We manage 2,000+ SKUs and dispatch orders Australia-wide from our Derrimut warehouse.

Qualifications

• Senior Storeperson or Team Leader experience in a warehouse.
• Hands-on picking/packing with forklift and lifting up to 30 kg.
• Forklift licence and scissor lift experience; high reach forklift preferred.
• Experience with stocktakes, cycle counts, and freight dispatch.
• Basic Excel; comfortable with scanners/PDAs/WMS.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse operations on the floor with a small team.
• Pick/pack orders accurately and prepare goods for dispatch.
• Book freight, print labels and manage daily dispatch.
• Coordinate courier pickups and customer collections in person.
• Operate forklifts/scissor lift and ensure safe workplace practices.
• Manage stock locations, replenishment, and warehouse layout.
• Train and support team members; drive efficiency improvements.
• Conduct stocktakes and resolve discrepancies.

Job description

Oz Best Dealz is a growing Australian eCommerce retailer specialising in 4x4 accessories, outdoor recreation and camping gear. We manage 2,000+ SKUs and dispatch orders Australia-wide from our Derrimut warehouse.

We’re a small, ambitious team, not a big company with a warehouse tucked in the corner. The Role:

A hands-on warehouse position with team-leader responsibilities layered on top. You’ll spend most of your day on the floor working alongside a small team (currently 1–3 people), picking, packing, operating machinery and keeping the warehouse running. This is not a desk job.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Prepare, wrap, box and palletise products for dispatch
• Book freight, print shipping labels and manage daily dispatch
• Coordinate courier pickups and in-person customer collections
• Operate a forklift and scissor lift (up to 6m) safely
• Manage a container unloading team; check barcodes/quantities against manifests
• Lift and move stock (up to ~30kg) throughout the warehouse
• Coordinate the daily workload of 1–3 pick packers
• Perform stocktakes, cycle counts and investigate discrepancies
• Manage stock locations, replenishment and warehouse layout
• Process returns and maintain accurate stock records
• Train and support team members; drive efficiency improvements

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience as a Senior Storeperson, Team Leader, or All-Rounder
• Strong hands-on picking and packing experience
• Forklift licence (LF) and scissor lift experience
• High Reach Forklift experience
• Experience receiving stock and unloading containers
• Solid understanding of inventory management and stock control
• Experience with stocktakes, cycle counts and freight dispatch
• Ability to lift up to ~30kg
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic Excel skills and experience with scanners/PDAs/WMS
• Comfortable working independently and leading a small team
• WMS/eCommerce experience (e.g. Maropost, EIZ) an advantage - not essential
