Job description

Warehouse Coordinator / Senior Storeperson – 4 Day Week

Warehouse Coordinator / Senior Storeperson – 4 Day Week

Monday to Thursday | 8:00am–4:30pm | Potential to Grow to 5 Days

We're an established print and packaging business looking for an experienced, hands‑on Warehouse Coordinator / Senior Storeperson to take ownership of the day‑to‑day running of our warehouse.

This isn't just a picking and packing position.

We're looking for someone who enjoys keeping a warehouse organised, is self motivated and has the ability to work independently. Someone who knows what needs to be done without waiting to be told, and takes pride in making sure stock, freight and orders are handled accurately and efficiently.

This is currently a permanent 4‑day‑per‑week position, working:

Monday to Thursday
8:00am–4:30pm

There is also potential for the role to increase to a 5‑day week in the future, depending on business requirements.

Location: [insert location]
Pay: [insert hourly rate/range] + super

The Role

You'll be responsible for the smooth day‑to‑day operation of the warehouse, including receiving and dispatch, stock management, freight coordination and general warehouse organisation.

You'll be trusted to organise your workload, identify what needs attention and keep things moving without constant supervision.

A unique and vital part of the position involves operating a guillotine to accurately cut materials to specified measurements. Training can be provided, but you'll need to be confident with numbers, measurements and working accurately.

Your responsibilities will include:

Picking, packing and preparing customer orders

Receiving incoming stock and checking deliveries

Dispatching goods and coordinating freight and couriers

Stock control and inventory management

Maintaining accurate stock locations

Operating a guillotine and accurately measuring and calculating cuts

Loading and unloading deliveries

Operating forklifts and pallet jacks

Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe

Identifying ways to improve warehouse processes and workflow

Working closely with our production and office team to ensure orders are completed on time

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with solid warehouse experience who is ready to take more ownership of their role.

You’ll ideally be someone who:

Has previous warehouse, storeperson or logistics experience

Is organised and takes pride in running an efficient warehouse

Is reliable, practical and self‑motivated

Is comfortable working independently and managing priorities

Has strong attention to detail – this involves checking orders and print samples for colour accuracy or errors

Is confident working with measurements and basic calculations

Has basic computer skills and experience with inventory or stock systems

Is comfortable with physical work and regular manual handling

Can safely perform the inherent physical requirements of the position

Has experience coordinating freight and deliveries

Holds a forklift licence, or is willing to obtain one

Experience in print, packaging or manufacturing would be an advantage, but isn’t essential.

Why Join Us?

This is a great opportunity for an experienced warehouse person who wants more responsibility without moving into a purely managerial role.

You’ll have the autonomy to take ownership of the warehouse and make improvements rather than simply being given a picking list each day.

We offer:

A stable, long‑term position

A consistent 4‑day working week

Monday to Thursday, 8:00am–4:30pm

Potential to increase to a 5‑day week in the future

A supportive small‑business environment

A varied role where you're trusted to manage your area

The chance to learn specialised equipment and processes within the print and packaging industry

If you're the type of person who notices when something needs doing and gets on with it, we'd like to hear from you.
