Job summary

Encore is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator in Adelaide to support the events team. This casual role is based at our Richmond warehouse and focuses on safe storage, accurate stock control, and reliable dispatches.

You will work with the Warehouse Manager and Event Designer, use MS Office for records, and maintain tidy, well-organised spaces. Prior warehouse experience and a forklift license are preferred, with flexibility to work after hours when required.

Qualifications

• Forklift license is required.
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
• Has or willing to get their test & tag license.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
• High level computer skills especially MS Office.
• Good oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Strong time management and customer service focus.
• Willingness to work after hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and develop warehouse processes to ensure safe storage and distribution of stock.
• Ensure dispatched goods and returns meet high standards; use R2 where appropriate.
• Adhere to OH&S guidelines and safe operating procedures.
• Store items securely, at the correct height, and harness forklift usage.
• Assist and prioritise projects with Warehouse Manager and Event Designer.
• Keep the warehouse neat, tidy and organised at all times.
• Maintain accurate records and systems across operations.
• Understand equipment and theming requirements for events.
• Maintain communication with operations, theming, hotels and interstate offices.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Warehouse Coordinator with a passion for the events industry. This is a casual position, based at our Adelaide warehouse in Richmond.

Core Responsibilities

• Monitor and develop warehouse processes to ensure safe, effective storage & distribution of S&D stock
• Ensure the scheduled despatches and returns are met to the highest standard with the use of R2 and that items are returned to the shelf as per best practice
• Ensure all OH&S guidelines, processes and principles are adopted within the warehouse
• Ensure all items are securely stored and at the adequate height for lifting and that items stored via fork lift are securely harnessed and stored
• In conjunction with Warehouse Manager and Event Designer, assist, prioritise and manage ongoing projects within the warehouse
• Be proactive in ensuring warehouse is kept in a neat and tidy condition at all times
• Maintain and monitor systems and ensuring that accurate records are being kept
• Develop an understanding of the equipment and theming requirements associated with events
• Maintain effective communication with operations, theming, hotels and interstate offices

Your Background

• Forklift license
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment
• Has or willing to get their test & tag license
• Ability to work under pressure
• High level computer skills (MS Office)
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Good customer service skills
• Time management skills; the ability to manage multiple and competing deadlines
• Maturity to deal with people at all levels of the organisation
• Ability to work after hours (when necessary)

• Proven accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience with Audio, Visual and Lighting systems will be highly regarded, but not essential
• MR licence will be highly regarded, but not essential
