Job summary

Dakeeta PTY LTD is a growing supplier of premium building materials, decorative wall panels and innovative cladding solutions. We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse Assistant to join our Smithfield site.

You will be hands-on with picking, packing, stock control and helping ensure orders are ready for delivery or collection. A current forklift licence and reliable transport are essential to perform day-to-day tasks in our busy warehouse.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence current and valid.
• Own reliable transport to Smithfield location.
• Experience in warehouse, picking or packing preferred.
• Stock control or inventory system experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and reliable, punctual work ethic.
• Able to safely lift 20–30 kg and follow PPE rules.

Responsibilities

• Picking, packing and preparing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Receiving incoming stock and checking deliveries against paperwork.
• Loading and unloading trucks and customer vehicles safely.
• Operating a forklift to move, store and retrieve stock.
• Organising products and maintaining warehouse stock locations.
• Assisting with stocktakes and inventory management.
• Preparing orders for deliveries and customer collections.
• Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
