WaterRower | Nohrd Australia is seeking a reliable Warehouse & Dispatch Assistant in Epping for a hands-on role that keeps stock organized, packs orders, and ensures daily courier dispatches go out smoothly.

When dispatch quiets down, you will assist our service department with basic equipment assembly and simple troubleshooting. A practical handyperson mindset, physical fitness, and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment with picking, packing and dispatch.
• Ability to handle heavy fitness equipment safely on a daily basis.
• Handy mindset with basic hand tool skills; practical and hands-on.
• Forklift licence is highly regarded but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Order Fulfilment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare wholesale orders for daily courier collections and dispatch.
• Inbound Freight: Assist with receiving incoming stock, unloading shipping containers, and safely storing inventory.
• Inventory & Safety: Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and running safely.
• Manual Handling: Safely handle and move stock; heavy items require safe lifting practices.
• Equipment Assembly: Help assemble and test premium fitness equipment (training provided).
• Minor Repairs: Assist with basic troubleshooting and simple part replacements.
• Parts Management: Help pack and label replacement parts for warranty claims.

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, hard-working Warehouse & Dispatch Assistant to join us. This is first and foremost a warehouse role—you will spend the vast majority of your day keeping our stock organized, packing orders, and getting goods out the door.

However, because we are a small team, we all wear a few different hats. When dispatch quietens down, you will also assist our service department with basic, hands-on equipment assembly and simple troubleshooting. No prior technical qualification is needed—we will provide full training!

If you want a stable, active warehouse role where you can also use your practical, handyperson skills from time to time, this is the perfect balance.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Dispatch (Primary Focus)

• Order Fulfilment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare wholesale orders for daily courier collections and dispatch.

• Inbound Freight: Assist with receiving incoming stock, unloading shipping containers, and safely storing inventory.

• Inventory & Safety: Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and running safely.

• Manual Handling: Safely handle and move stock. As a fitness business, our items (weights, benches, machines) can be heavy, so strict adherence to safe lifting practices is a must.

Basic Servicing & Assembly (Secondary Focus)

• Equipment Assembly: Help assemble and test-run premium fitness equipment before it is delivered or installed (full training provided).

• Minor Repairs: Assist with basic troubleshooting and simple part replacements on returned equipment.

• Parts Management: Help pack and label replacement parts for customer warranty claims.

What We Are Looking For

• Warehouse Experience: Proven experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment (picking, packing, and dispatch).

• Physical Fitness & Strength: Comfort and capability handling heavy fitness equipment safely on a daily basis.

• A "Handy" Mindset: Comfort using basic hand tools and a practical, common-sense approach to assembling or fixing things (no professional technical background required).

• Reliable & Proactive: A team player who shows up on time, works hard, and actively looks for ways to help the team.

• Forklift Licence (LF): Highly regarded, but not essential.
