Job summary

Smartways Logistics Holdings in Port Melbourne is seeking a Warehouse Operative to support time-critical distribution for healthcare clients. You will receive, inspect, and record shipments, sort freight, and safely load/unload delivery vehicles.

We require 5+ years in warehousing, a valid forklift licence, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Hours are 3:30pm–8:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Valid Forklift Licence (essential).
• Proven experience in sortation, loading and unloading trucks.
• Strong understanding of warehouse processes and inventory control.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Process-driven mindset with the ability to follow structured procedures.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks.
• Respectful and collaborative and able to work in teams or individually.
• A quick learner with a willingness to learn
