Excel Recruitment is seeking a reliable Warehouse Assistant to join our team on a casual short-term assignment starting ASAP at our Parkinson, QLD distribution centre. The role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced warehousing environment and supports efficient receiving, storage and dispatch operations.

You will perform unloading, picking and packing tasks, operate pallet jacks and hand trucks, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Qualificações

• Previous warehouse or similar manual handling experience is preferred but not essential.
• Physical fitness to perform repetitive lifting and carrying tasks safely.
• Good numeracy and basic inventory accuracy skills.

Responsabilidades

• Organize and store products in designated locations within the warehouse, following inventory procedures.
• Unloading containers when needed.
• Picking and packing items according to customer orders with accuracy.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, trolleys and hand trucks safely.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment and assist with waste management.
• Support the wider warehouse team to meet daily targets and deadlines.
• Follow health and safety protocols and company procedures at all times.

We are seeking a reliable and energetic Warehouse Assistant to join our team on a casual basis for a short assignment to start asap. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced warehousing environment whilst contributing to the efficient operation of our distribution centre located in Parkinson, QLD 4115.

As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and safely. This position offers flexibility for those seeking short-term work or looking to develop their warehouse and logistics skills in a professional setting.

Shift Hours

Start immediately tomorrow till Friday 06 November, 2026

Key responsibilities

• Organizing and storing products in designated locations within the warehouse, following proper inventory management procedures
• Unloading containers when needed
• Picking and packing items according to customer orders, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
• Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, trolleys and hand trucks safely and efficiently
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe warehouse environment, including regular housekeeping and waste management
• Supporting the broader warehouse team to meet daily targets and deadlines
• Following all health and safety protocols and company procedures at all times
