Job summary

INARTISAN is seeking a Warehouse Assistant in Sydney to support inbound receiving, QA checks, inventory management, and order fulfilment with precision and brand-aligned presentation.

You will also assist in production of INARTISAN goods and maintain a clean, safe workspace under the Warehouse Manager, contributing to premium customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, production, or dispatch environment.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Physical fitness and comfort with manual handling tasks.
• Experience in a premium retail, homewares, or design-adjacent environment would be a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload and QA-check incoming supplier deliveries, ensuring product quality.
• Store goods accurately and maintain tidy stock areas.
• Pick and pack customer orders with high accuracy and presentation.
• Dispatch orders on time with consistent documentation and brand presentation.
• Assist in the production of INARTISAN goods and stage goods for dispatch.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workspace; follow safety procedures.

As Warehouse Assistant, your work is the final step before a product reaches our customers — and is critical to how customers experience the brand. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will support the smooth running of our warehouse operations, from receiving and QA-checking supplier deliveries through to picking, packing and dispatching orders to an exceptional standard of accuracy and presentation. You will also contribute to the making of some INARTISAN products, ensuring that everything leaving our warehouse reflects the quality and care at the heart of the brand.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inbound & Inventory

• Receive, unload and QA-check incoming supplier deliveries, ensuring product quality meets INARTISAN standards
• Store goods accurately and maintain tidy, organised stock areas
• Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate stock records
• Pick and pack customer orders with accuracy and high presentation standards, packaged suitably for safe freighting
• Dispatch orders on time, maintaining consistent documentation and brand presentation at every step
• Process daily orders and maintain fulfilment targets

3. Production & Making

• Assist in the production of INARTISAN goods, including candles, printed and trimmed cards, and other merchandise
• Prepare and sort goods for sale, ensuring quality and presentation are consistent with brand standards
• Stage and load goods ready for dispatch

4. Workspace & Safety

• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workspace at all times
• Adhere to all workplace health and safety procedures
• Support general warehouse operations and complete other tasks as directed
