Job summary

Access Worx, a veteran player in EWP and forklift sales and service, is seeking a Warehouse assistant in Melbourne. Reporting to the Workshop Controller, you will assist with inventory control, machinery management, and parts receiving and dispatching.

The role requires a valid Victorian Driver's license, occasional forklift handling, and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team while following health and safety guidelines in a fast-paced workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Victorian Driver's licence
• Forklift licence (not essential)

• Capable IT skills and willingness to learn in-house systems
• Clear English communication for HSE instructions and emails

Position Overview

Reporting to the Workshop Controller this role will include a variety of tasks including Inventory and Machinery management, Parts Dispatching and Receiving.

• Stocktaking store
• Machinery Stocktaking
• Parts Delivery's and Pickups

Skills and Experience

• Current Victorian Drivers license.
• Forklift License (not crucial).
• The ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
• Capable IT skills and willingness to learn in house systems.
• Demonstratable sufficient command of the English language to understand health and safety instructions, write straightforward emails and give/receive verbal instructions and communicate with colleagues.
• Physically fit.
• Awareness of the importance of health and safety within the workplace.
