Job summary

Harvey Norman Cairns Warehouse is seeking a capable 2IC to support dispatching and receiving of orders, coach staff, and engage with customers to deliver exceptional service. You will help lead the team to meet daily targets and uphold WH&S guidelines in a fast-paced retail logistics environment.

The role requires strong communication, organisation, and frontline leadership to ensure timely and accurate distribution of goods, with flexibility to cover retail hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written.
• Highly organised with great time management skills.
• Experience in warehouse management.
• Ability to lead and coach a team.
• Great eye for detail and accuracy.
• Experience checking delivery sheets.
• Experience distributing goods and loading trucks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dispatching and receiving of orders in the Cairns Warehouse.
• Coach and lead warehouse staff to maintain Great Service, Always!
• Liaise with customers to provide exceptional service and ensure timely deliveries.

The Harvey Norman CairnsWarehouse Team is seeking a passionate, customer service focused 2IC to join them in delivering Great Service, Always! to their customers.

As a 2IC, you have a good understanding of the dispatching and receiving of orders, coaching staff and liaising with customers providing exceptional customer service.

To be successful you must:

• Be highly motivated and results driven person with outstanding customer service and communication skills
• Enjoy working in a team environment

What we require:

• Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written
• To be highly organised and possess great time management skills
• Experience in warehouse management
• Have the ability to warehouse operations, assist coaching, lead and motivated an enthusiastic team
• Must be motivated and have a great eye for detail
• Experience checking delivery sheets
• Effective, timely and accurate distribution of goods in and out of our warehouse, including loading of trucks
• A strong commitment to WH&S policies and procedures
• Enthusiasm and willingness to learn with a "can do" attitude
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
• Flexibility across retail trading hours including weekends, public holidays and late night trades
• Current Forklift, Drivers and Pickers License (preferred)
