Job summary

Tanuki in Double Bay is seeking experienced casual waitstaff to join our front-of-house team, with a strong Friday, Saturday and Sunday availability. Deliver warm, attentive service and guide guests through our food, wine and sake offerings.

Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service in a fast-paced, premium dining environment. NSW RSA and full Australian working rights are required; training is provided for the right person.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience in a busy restaurant.
• Confident running your own section.
• Professional presentation and positive attitude.
• Current NSW RSA and full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, attentive and knowledgeable service.
• Guide guests through our food, wine, cocktail and sake offerings.

About you

• At least 1-2 years experience in a busy restaurant
• Confident running your own section
• Passion for food, wine and hospitality
• Professional presentation and positive attitude
• Able to thrive in a busy service while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Current NSW RSA
• Full Australian working rights

Japanese food or sake knowledge is an advantage, but not essential-we're happy to train the right person.
